Colson X-Cel Ltd, the UK manufacturer of instrument valves and Double Block & Bleed Valves has achieved the UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking for all product that is to be supplied into England, Scotland and Wales. Colson X-Cel now meets all the mandatory requirements well in advance of the 1st of January 2023 deadline. The assessment was conducted by Lloyds in August 2021 and will be valid until 2024 in accordance with the requirement of the pressure equipment regulations 2016, UK statutory Instrument 2016 No. 1105, as amended by the Product Safety and Metrology etc. (Amendments etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, UK Statutory Instrument 2019 No. 696.
Colson X-Cel Ltd also continue to mark product under the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU for supply into Europe.
